New Contracts Soon to Invade Colorado Real Estate

July 28, 2010

Forget the British…NEW CONTRACTS ARE COMING!  2011 will launch one of the greatest number of changes that Colorado Real Estate Brokers have seen in many years.  To what are we looking forward?  Here are some examples:

  • Five Contracts to Buy and Sell instead of one (WOW!)
  • New Deadlines and Conditions
  • Re-arranged Sections of the Contract
  • New rules for the Foreclosure Protection Act
  • Changes in the Short Sale Addendum
  • New Addenda & many modified forms

Although the new contracts and changes will not become mandatory by the CREC (nor will they be available for use) until January 1st, it would be wise for Brokers to attend a class prior to then.  For more information on Contracts classes available in Northern Colorado, see my “Schedule of Classes” page on http://www.charityvermeer.com.

“Turning Social Media Into $$: Driving Business Using Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter”

Don’t waste time with social media – make time!

You can’t afford to stay away any longer – social networking sites are where your customers, clients and prospects are!  With over 500 million people on Facebook alone, these sites are where you will find people that want to use your service and do business with you.  But you’ve got to learn how to use these tools effectively.  And you’ve got to make money with your social media efforts.  This program will show you how!

In this 3-hour session, you’ll learn:
  • How to build your Facebook network with the right people, attract fans to your page(s), and build your profile with FBSEO (Facebook SEO) tactics that will help you get found
  • Strategies to make your LinkedIn profile a secret weapon for attracting business and how to create groups to build a database of prospects
  • Why you have to be using Twitter in your business, how to target super Twitter networkers to get yourself noticed and followed, and how to monitor tweets from people who are talking about real estate
  • Time management tips and systems that will cut your time spent on social media in half, while still keeping you engaged and appearing like you’re everywhere
  • How to syndicate your status updates and posts from one location to many networks, keeping track of the number of people that follow your content
If you’re not on these sites yet, come to this session to understand why you need to be there.  If you’re on these sites now but not getting business, come find out how you can turn these sites into money generating tools.

“LinkedIn Essentials for Real Estate”

Everyone’s talking about that “other” social network.  But while it’s a great tool for building business, shouldn’t you also be using a social network that presents a professional image of you?  One that doesn’t involve throwing sheep and engaging in mafia warfare?  How about one that has the targeted clientele and connections you want to connect with?  That would be LinkedIn.  And you need to be there.
Most people have created a LinkedIn profile, but have not gone beyond that step to leverage this powerful network into a business generating machine.  This session is designed to do just that.  In this 3 hour session you’ll learn how to:
  • Build your profile with the right keywords and content that will attract connections and get you included in searches several times per day, all translating into business opportunity
  • Create a referral network of agents from around the country, and develop your reputation as the “go to” real estate professional in your market
  • Take advantage of little known secrets and “gotchas” that over 90% of LinkedIn users don’t know about
  • Save time with shortcuts and systems to build and manage your LinkedIn network
  • Promote your LinkedIn network presence outside of LinkedIn, and how this translates into great SEO juju for you (works with other social networks too)
Don’t throw all your social networking eggs in one basket!  Find out how using LinkedIn effectively in your business can distance you from your competition, and learn from one of the top LinkedIn networkers in the world.
