Since 1993 when I began my career in real estate, I have learned from and worked for some of the best Real Estate Brokerages – both independent and franchised – in Northern Colorado. I have assisted, sold, managed, coached, mentored, instructed and consulted for over 30 years. After obtaining my Broker Associate license in 1997, and then becoming a REALTOR® at the beginning of 2000, I have proudly been – and will continue to be – actively involved with the REALTOR® community in numerous capacities, both locally and for the state. In 2005, I had the opportunity to become an instructor for the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, and shortly thereafter for various other real estate schools. I was honored with the CAR Instructor of the Year award in 2009, the CAR Purple Cow award in 2012, and the FCBR Distinguished Service Award in 2014. I transitioned in my career in 2006 from selling to managing and upgraded my license to the Employing Broker level. Since then, I have served as a non-competing Employing/Managing Broker in the greater Northern Colorado area. In 2012, I acquired the very school I attended in 1996, the Northern Colorado College of Real Estate, Northern Colorado’s premier Broker Associate Licensing and Continuing Education provider. Currently, in addition to my passion of teaching, I provide a variety of consulting services, such as performing mock audits of Brokerages/Independents, offering the Broker Administration course (to upgrade a license to Employing Broker level) and the Broker Reactivation course (to either meet the 24-hour CE requirement in a three-year cycle or to reactivate an inactive license), and assisting with the creation and establishment of a new Brokerage. I am an adamant believer in education, competency and supervision, with the ultimate goal being two-fold: avoiding any type of interaction with a judge, and more importantly, properly guiding consumers through one of their greatest financial and emotional investments of their entire lives.
